Tater was the runt of the litter and her sister never lets her forget it. She is a round butterball with an ultra fluffy neck and an adorably tiny head. She loves the rain, hates the vacuum, and she’ll fight you for your banana. They’re her favorite. Plus, who could resist that face? She’s as spoiled as she looks.
Sebastian is excellent at photo-bombing.

Little Bear is every color possible. I love when strangers try to guess her breed. I’ve never heard the same answer twice. She has a natural talent for herding, and loves to practice on the cat.
Her name was an accident. It was her newborn nickname, and she wasn’t the puppy I planned to keep from the litter. But it was obvious— she chose me. We’ve been inseparable ever since. After a few weeks I tried changing her name to something more fitting, but it was too late. Nothing else stuck. She was already my Little Bear.

Jackie lives up to the Jack Russell reputation— she’s a little ball of energy. She loves squeaky toys, loves car rides, and loves to run. She can catch any critter who dares trespass through her kingdom. Squirrels, moles, birds, bunnies…. She’s a fearless hunter, and fierce snuggle bug. She’s also very cold natured, so every blanket in the house is hers. Your blanket is her blanket.
She’s 110% Daddy’s Girl, and by far the hardest to photograph because she never. stops. moving.

Flip-Flop, Flippers, Mama Bear, Big Mama…. she answers to almost anything. She was rescued from a highway in Mississippi in 2015, and no one ever came forward to claim her. She’s just an oversized dachshund, with powerful, short legs and a large breed’s neck + torso.
This big sweet mama birthed Little Bear, Tater + 4 more without any help. We didn’t know she was pregnant and thought she had been fixed. She lived in the backyard with Jackie at the time, and her naturally round belly concealed the pups well. The litter of 6 had 3-5 different fathers. None of the pups were the same color or size.
All of our animals are now living their best life as indoor-dogs.

Sebastian is just one of the dogs. He’s part of the wolf pack and does whatever the dogs do. He doesn’t even mind wearing a harness.
He’s a rescue from the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. Before he was a year old, he was partially run over by a car and almost lost his tail.
Nowadays he’s a big, spoiled indoor kitten. When fully stretched out— with arms and legs extended— he’s over 3 feet long.

Sherlock is a spoiled, spoiled Shih-Tzu. He’s the cutest, quirkiest pup around. He loves going on walks, socializing, and dressing up. He has several coats, vests, and bowties.
Sherlock is an only-child and lives with my parents at the lake. He has several wildlife friends, including a family of ducks that visit him often.
